The situation is becoming increasingly critical as Ukraine prepares for a potential long-term conflict. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for enhanced support from allies, particularly in air defence capabilities, as the current systems struggle to intercept the barrage of attacks. With only 60% of drones being intercepted, the implications for civilian safety are dire.

Air raid sirens force evacuations of schools and commercial buildings, while the destruction of food storage facilities leads to shortages in grocery supplies.
