Recent research indicates that beer can provide substantial levels of vitamin B6, an essential nutrient beneficial for brain health, blood function, and the immune system. A single serving of beer may meet about 15% of the daily requirement for this vitamin, which is also found in various foods like meat, fish, and cereals.

The presence of vitamin B6 in beer comes from its raw ingredients such as barley and yeast, which retain this nutrient during the brewing process. Although the amount of B6 varies by beer type, traditional German bock beer tends to have the highest levels due to its alcohol content.
