A man in Aberdare has been sentenced after throwing glass bottles at a police car responding to an emergency call. Mark Fraser, 40, caused significant damage, shattering the vehicle’s windscreen and endangering the lives of the officers inside. The incident, which occurred in November, resulted in approximately £900 worth of damage.
Fraser was sentenced at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court to a three-year suspended prison term. In addition to the suspended sentence, he is required to complete 250 hours of unpaid work and pay over £6,000 in compensation to the police.
