A new floral exhibition celebrating Princess Diana is set to open in London this autumn, running from September 16 to October 6. This event, part of the Fleurs de Ville show, features 15 floral mannequins designed by local florists, each representing iconic outfits worn by Diana throughout her life. This artistic tribute not only showcases her fashion but also highlights her humanitarian efforts, including her notable work against landmines.

The exhibition coincides with what would have been Diana’s 65th birthday, making it a poignant occasion for fans and admirers. Proceeds from ticket sales will support The Diana Award, a charity that empowers young people, ensuring that her legacy continues to inspire future generations. Additionally, the event aims to provide job opportunities for young individuals, further embedding Diana’s spirit of compassion into the community.

Visitors will have the chance to vote for their favourite installation, with a judging panel that includes florists who have previously worked with the royal family. This interactive element not only engages attendees but also fosters a deeper connection to Diana’s story and the causes she championed.

The exhibition marks the first stop in a planned tour that will extend to Canada, Australia, and the United States by 2027, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of her passing. This broader initiative aims to keep her memory alive and continue the conversation around the important issues she advocated for, ensuring her influence remains relevant today.
