Blizzard is set to launch the beta for World of Warcraft: Forever this week, offering players a chance to experience a revamped version of the classic game. This new iteration expands on the original 2004 release, introducing enhanced visuals, new zones, and a plethora of quests and dungeons. The beta will run from September 17 to October 21, 2026, allowing players to explore up to level 30 before the full game launches on November 4.

To gain access to the beta, players can either pre-order one of several packages, including the World of Warcraft: Forever Collection or the Collector’s Edition, which comes with exclusive physical items. Alternatively, players can sign up on the World of Warcraft website for a chance to be selected for beta access, though this does not guarantee entry.

The introduction of World of Warcraft: Forever signifies Blizzard’s commitment to evolving its flagship franchise while catering to both nostalgic players and newcomers. With a roadmap for 2027 already in place, including new raids and a hardcore mode, the game promises to keep the community engaged long after its initial release.

As players dive into the beta, they should note that progress will not carry over to the final game, but character creation will be available ahead of launch. This approach allows Blizzard to refine gameplay based on player feedback, ensuring a polished experience upon release.
