A man narrowly escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown into his home in County Armagh. The incident occurred on Wednesday night in the Anne Street area of Milford, where the attacker smashed a window before launching the incendiary device inside. Fortunately, the occupant managed to vacate the property just moments after the attack, avoiding any physical harm.

Police are treating the incident as a deliberate act and are investigating the involvement of two unidentified males. One suspect was reported to be dressed in dark clothing, while the other wore a t-shirt and brown trousers, both with face coverings. They fled the scene on foot towards Monaghan Road.

This attack highlights ongoing safety concerns in the area, as police continue to seek information from the public regarding any suspicious activity around the time of the incident. The damage caused was primarily to the living room, indicating a targeted approach rather than random vandalism.

As authorities work to uncover the motive behind this attack, residents may feel increased anxiety about their safety. The incident serves as a reminder of the potential for violence in communities and the importance of vigilance in reporting suspicious behaviour to local law enforcement.
